CCSTUDIO: How to remotely connect to Launchpad

The best option is to get an external LAN debug probe that is connected to the launchpad. Then you can configure your CCS to access that LAN probe via IP address.

However, LAN probes can be pricey. An example of a LAN probe is:

Another option is to use something like DSS TestServer:

However, this is more useful for automated testing from the command-line so it is not a viable option if you want CCS IDE debugging of the remote launchpad on your local machine

Honestly, most people simply remote desktop or VNC to the remote machine connected to the launchpad and use the CCS IDE on the remote desktop to debug. This is the simplest solution (and pretty effective).
