Team,

Linux OS is required for the PC to flash the AM64x via USB. Is it possible to use Windows OS as well?

Which dfu-util version should work? Maybe all versions?
Is there an alternative way to boot via DFU?
Are there prebuilt-images in the SDK version 08.04.01.04 work?
What is the expected output of ./dfu-util.exe -R -a bootloader -D /path/to/tiboot3.bin? Warning do show up, is it ok?

The SDK v8.4 documentation mentions the Windows version of the dfu-util tool.

Hello Karim,
The failure signature from the log seems due to AM64x SR1.0 GP is used. By default the pre-built binary in SDK 8.4 boots only on SR 2.0 HS-FS SoC
One good reference for SW migration in SDK 8.4 to support AM64x SoC variants (SR1.0/SR2.0 + GP/HS-FS/HS-SE)
