TDA4VM: difference between VIL/VIH and VILSS/VIHSS

Part Number: TDA4VM

Dear expert,

In TDA4VM data sheet, there are VIL/VIH and VILSS/VIHSS 2 kinds of threshold voltage. Could you tell me how to understand the difference between VIL/VIH and VILSS/VIHSS? Under what scenarios should these 2 voltages be applied respectively?

Thanks

Best Regards,

Xingyu Zhu

  • Hello,

The VIL/VIH spec is the voltage level at which a logic low (0) and logic high (1) will be detected.

The VILSS/VIHSS (steady state) spec is the voltage that must be maintained in order to avoid reliability issues.

    Regards,
