SK-AM64: How do I do "Peripheral PIN Select" (TI PIN MUX)?

I have found another tricks which show some built-in features of AM64x Start Kit OS.

When I entered command:

gpioinfo

It returned

gpiochip1 - 8 lines:
        line   5: "RPI_PS_3V3_En" unused input active-high
        line   6: "RPI_PS_5V0_En" unused input active-high
        line   7: "RPI_HAT_DETECT" unused input active-high
        

Can you show us how to use these built-in features?

Have you tried the SysConfig Tool (http://dev.ti.com).  This can be used to configure timing valid interface pin selections.

Yes, it seems like a very good tool.  I can even import an example project UART and compile it without any error.

1. So, if I copy the resultant binary file to my AM64x Start Kit file system, it should be able to run there successfully. Am I correct?
2. There are 2 types of example project, namely, freertos and nortos.  Which one should I choose to run them in AM64x Start Kit OS?

Yes, SysConfig is a great tool for configuring the SoC.   Looks like I need to get someone from the s/w team to help with this question.

When I choose AM64x from within SysConifg, I began to feel confused because there are 6 MCU cores on the AM64x Starter Kit (attachment).  Which one corresponds to controlling GPIO on the Raspberry Pi Hat pins?

SysConfig tool (i.e. Pinmux feature) is designed to help user to configure Pinmux based on user's HW design.
An example is listed in the referenced e2e posts in my reply, where PinMux is configured for GPIO pins, and how to add DT node for the GPIO pins for Linux.
Depending on your system HW/SW designs, you'll have to work out the specifics adaptations for your design.
Here is one example from e2e community memeber for your reference.

I replicated the same procedure on my AM64x Start Kit.  However, this is no such file devicetree.dtsi (Linux) in my sysconifg as in your example:

Is it because the AM64x sysconfig is in beta status?  When will you implement devicetree.dtsi in AM64x sysconfig?

My sysconfig version is 1.14.

You may follow the same steps as noted in this e2e, but select "AM64x_beta" for <Device>.
