Hi,

I have a question about DDR2 memory controller of tms320c6424.

My DSP is 500MHz version of the c6424 and I want to configure the DDR2 at maximum frequency. I'will read the documents but at the beginning I want to know the fact what is the maximum freq I can reach ?

Hello,

From the overview on the first page of the C6424 datasheet,

Supports up to 333-MHz (data rate) bus and interfaces to DDR2-400 SDRAM

This means the maximum clock is 166.6MHz (doubled gives you the 333MHz bit clock). You can find more on this interface and its timings also in the datasheet on pp 176-177.
