GEL file for TCI486 EVM

Hi, I am not able to write to any of the configuration registers of TMS320TCI6486 during target connection using GEL file. The following error is displayed: Unable to write to the location . I have mapped the memory using the GEL_AddMap() function and given them read and write access. Has any one successfully configured TCI6486 on connection using a GEL file? Thanks, Amit

Make sure that the peripheral you are writing to is powered up and out of reset. I imagine there is some kind of power/clock-gating in the device which would need to be configured.

Thanks for your reply Brad,

I was able to resolve this, there was a mistake on my side. I had assigned the GEL script to the icepick router. It is working fine now after assigning the GEL file to CPU.
