I have a customer looking into using the TDA4 and had a question about the recommended operating conditions. In the datasheet, VDD_MCU nominal is .8V, but our PDN has the rail set to .85 V. Why is it set to .85V?

0.85V is within the valid range for VDD_MCU. The reason it is set to 0.85 is be cause it is also combined with the SRAM rail on the MCU (VDDAR). This rail requires 0.85V. We could power VDD_MCU at 0.80…but that would require another power regulator.
