SK-AM62: reduce boot timing

Hi,

i simply want to remove the 2 second delay from u-boot, and i have set the variable CONFIG_BOOTDELAY = 0. i have done this in both .config files, one for a53 and one for r5. I have recompiled u boot (for a53 and for r5), but the 2 second time delay is still there at boot. How can i remove it? am i missing something simple? there is some config that override the config_bootdelay setting ? pls give some hint.
