TDA4VM: Heating issue

Hi team,

While running some Python demos, the processor gets hot around 50°C and automatically restarts.

The load current is 4A and supply voltage is 5V.

Could you please look into this issue?

Hi Pratheesh,

The processor can reset due to over-heating when operating at higher loading and/or environment with elevated temperatures. Adding a fan to heatsink will help increase airflow. I recommend looking at section 5.1 of the SK-TDA4VM User Guide:
