TMS320C6678: Whether there is a data interface connected to audio ADC？

Hi TI

The customer needs one channel of audio ADC sampling, but no common audio data interfaces such as I2S and TDM are found in the C6678 peripheral interface. Does the C6678 have a data interface to access audio? Is there a recommended scheme to realize the audio access function?

Hello Rain,

I don't see a very convenient way to interface from the C6678 directly to an audio codec. You may be able to implement some glue logic (with FIFO) inside of an FPGA that interfaces to the C6678 via the EMIF16 interface.
