Thanks for reaching out to TI. Does your application requirement needs linux or a Operating system? Additionally to understand the general power requirements approach, is your application going to be run off a battery?

Design application requirements doesn’t require OS or linux. Also no battery is used.

Could you please check and confirm whether you have 16bit parallel slave port feature in any of the controller/processor parts?
