We are developing AM62xx processors, based on SDK version: ti-processor-sdk-linux-rt-am62xx-evm-08.03.00.19-Linux. We want to confirm:

Does the SDK of AM62xx support bc-cat module for OpenGL(ES) ?

If it unsupport bc-cat, how to figure out HMI display with OpenGL(ES) on AM62xx platform ？

Our old project is working on AM335x processor, its display is using OpenGL(ES) with bc-cat. Reference from: https://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/apps_processors/OMAP35x_AM35x_Video_Texture_Streaming/1_0/exports/bc-cat_User_Guide-0.1.0.htm

Are there other solutions in the SDK can solve OpenGLES Texture Streaming - bc-cat on AM62xx platform，just like on AM335x ?

Hello,

I am not sure I understand the question but our AM62xx platform has GPU drivers for Linux enabled. For example, refer to the following examples: https://dev.ti.com/tirex/content/linux-academy-AM62X-8.4.1.3.v1/ch-eval/eval-tour-graphics.html

Our old project is using bc-cat module：bc-cat is a Linux kernel module, which implements Imagination's 3rd Party BufferClass API to provides a shortcut for fast texture streaming on SGX530 graphics accelerator.

How to use bc-cat module on AM62xx platform ? Does the GPU drivers in AM62xx can support bc-cat module ?

We need the similar functionality which can replace the role of bc-cat module on OpenGL(ES). So how to achieve texture streaming using OpenGL(ES) on AM62x platform ？

You can use EGLimage and dmabuff for texture streaming. For example, please refer to the following: https://registry.khronos.org/EGL/extensions/EXT/EGL_EXT_image_dma_buf_import.txt.
