Whether single Jacinto can  meet the black channel architecture of safety communication standard IEC 61784-3. 

Can we use MCU island and Main domain to individually implement Safety Communication Layer as Model A in IEC 61784-3 showed below?

    Hi, 

    As the specification is stating that Model A, can be met by either S/W or H/W, it can be met by the Jacinto Family of devices.

    Regarding "Can we use MCU island and Main domain to individually implement Safety Communication Layer".  Yes it could be done, but the path through the HW / SW may not be optimal depending on the Safety Use case that is being met.  Would like to understand the use case more before responding any further.
