Dear expet,

I would like to update my sdk from ti-processor-sdk-rtos-j721e-evm-07_03_00_07 to ti-processor-sdk-rtos-j721e-evm-08_04_00_06 and found that the toolchain has been changed as follows.Should I update the toolchain in my autosar project ,too?

Yes, you should update the tool chain. Thank you for your reply. Except for the toolchain, is there any other things that I should confirm with the autosar supplier?

Hello Menghai,

The compiler would be the biggest update since then to make sure is ported correctly.

Other components have received updates, perhaps the best thing to check with the supplier is they have updated to the latest SDK. The AUTOSAR stack usually deals with:

1) Security: The system firmware has been through many updates, perhaps it would be good to check that the supplier is aware of upcoming updates to enable HSM.

2) MCAL: There have been various updates and bug-fixes, make sure to take the latest configuration.
