TDA4VM: when transform ATF、dtb、kernel Image of Linux,error occurred.

Hi, 

Please check the below makefile. For currently, we support "sbl_qnx_bootimage" command to build the system. 

ti-processor-sdk-rtos-j721e-evm-08_02_00_05/vision_apps/makerules/makefile_sbl.mak

Currently, Only support QNX system. If you are using the Linux. Please refer this command to change. Thanks.

How to change imakefile_sbl.mak? Is there a documentation reference?

Please apply attached patch on my previous post and then you will be able to make sbl images from vision apps folder.

But there are still errors as shown below

But I can actually find the command aarch64-none-linux-gnu-ld，also modified the path inside the constructappimageshlos.sh.The path where aarch64-none-linux-gnu-ld is located has been tried.As shown in the following figure

ok this is failing incorrect path to the tool chain. In this script file (constructappimageshlos.sh), can you please add full path to the tool chain in below highlighted statement?  

if [ $OS == "linux" ]; then

aarch64-none-linux-gnu-ld -T $LDS_PATH/$i.lds -o $MULTICOREAPP_BIN_PATH/$i.elf

fi

But there is no atf_optee.elf generation.Is it related to the SDK version? My colleagues can do these with the SDK from 7.3. Have you used version 8.4 to perform these operations?

Please set the LINUX_BUILD_DIR_PATH macro correct pointing to prebuild images in the PSDKLA, something like below. 

LINUX_BUILD_DIR_PATH=/PATH_TO_PSDKLA/PSDKLA/board-support/prebuilt-images/

I suggest that you can use the below command :  make sbl_linux boot_image

Before to use the command , you need to apply the below patch.

please notice the "SJ_PATH_PSDKLA" , you should change to your sdk path. Thanks.

Hi,

After applying this patch, please follow below steps.

1, build vision apps by command "make sdk"

2, build sbl images using "make sbl_bootimage". This will all required components for SBL boot..

Then you have all required output files available in $(VISION_APPS_PATH)/out/sbl_bootfiles folder.
