Code getting hanged on TMS320DM365

Hi,

 

       I am using TMS320DM365 custom board. My code is getting hanged on some assembly instruction    "   00000004 CE6B8E88 CDPGT         P14, #0x6, C8, C11, C8, #0x4 ". I am  not able to run to break points set in my code. It is observed that when i halt the execution and restart running the program, cursor is moving to the assembly instruction  

" asm(" NOP"); "   and then going and hanging on above mentioned instruction in dis-assembly window.

Can you tell me what is going wrong, and how to solve this problem and run program successfully.
