TDA4VM: We need codec sample code of TDA4VH.

Here's some infomation we got from Joe.

1. The V4L2 driver is ready, the upper GStreamer has not yet been implemented, and it is expected to be released at the 12.20.

2. At present, we can temporarily use the gst-launch-1.0 tool for codec.

3. In addition, we tried to use videnc-test-app which works well on TDA4VM to verify the V4L2 interface, and found that some interfaces were not yet supported. https://git.ti.com/cgit/jacinto7_multimedia/videnc-test-app/

CAN YOU PROVIDE US SOME SAMPLE CODE THAT WE CAN BUILD AND VERIFY THE CODEC ON TDA4VM?

The demo app from the above git link is tested on TDA4VM only. There is no fully working example for TDA4VH yet.

1. We have input a 10 frames nv12.yuv to tienc_encode, after encoded these 10 frames, have found that
the "enc_output_info.recon_frame_index" always not set to RECON_IDX_FLAG_ENC_END and then the video flags
would not set to V4L2_BUF_FLAG_LAST too.
So how to set "dst_buf->flags" to "V4L2_BUF_FLAG_LAST" ?

2. We have found that the COMMAND_QUEUE_DEPTH set to 4, so what we should do to restart the next encode to complete the other frames ?
Could we restart the encode from the kernel if (inst->src_buf_count - COMMAND_QUEUE_DEPTH > 0) with function (inst->ops->start_process(inst);).

We are working on debugging this issue.

Regarding second question, can you answer

a. Is this question related to first question?

b. If it is the same instance, (to restart) you have to explicitly stop and start the encode using respective ioctl. But for different instance, next encode restarts automatically. Can you explain more about how and why you are trying to restart the encode?
