Rebuild Codec Engine error!

The ezsdk is ezsdk_5_01, I rebuild codec engine apps(ti/sdo/ce/examples/apps), It apprear the following errors:

js: "/home/jzb/workdir/ezsdk5.1/codec-engine_3_21_00_13_eng/packages/ti/sdo/ce/ipc/dsplink/package.xs", line61:xdc.services.global.XDCException:xdc.PACKAGE_NOT_FOUND: /home/jzb/workdir/ezsdk5.1/syslink_02_00_00_68_beta1/ti/syslink/package.xdc found along the package path, but no schema file was found. Ensure that the package 'ti.syslink' is completely built.

Are syslink error? How to build syslink?

In the most recent EZSDK from here http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/ezsdk/latest/index_FDS.html, I did a make in the ezsdk top level folder, that builds syslink along with other things. Executing "make help" should list all the options. Ensure all the syslink targets are built. That should help you build codec engine apps.

Each individual component in the EZSDK can be built from the root level directory of the EZSDK. Please look at make options as mentioned in the above post. More specifically for CE examples, before building and running the examples, please execute the following instructions from the root EZSDK path.

make linux.
make syslink
make cmem

Make from the top level does not allow rebuilding of Codec Engine, mainly because Codec Engine is only supplied in the EZSDK as binary/header form.

I think he needs to download the full Codec Engine package including source code and install it into his EZSDK. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

On this subject, where can you download the Codec Engine in full?

No, in order to build the codec engine examples, you do not need to download the full version of codec engine. The codec engine examples will build fine with the lite version of codec engine provided in the ezsdk.

I see, I missed the fact he was just building the sample apps.

Good to see someone's finally put the full latest Codec Engine up for download.

Edit: I think I spoke too soon - what does it mean when it says "does not yet support Linux"? :-S

That text has now been removed so I assume it now does support Linux. Result!
