Dear Experts,
I would like to know if the ISP could handle the processing of high-resolution RAW Bayer (10 bit or 12 bit) sensors such as the following Arducam Hawk-eye (64MP or 9248x6944, 30fps), please ?
Assuming 1 pixel takes 16 bits in the memory, theoretically the max. throughput of 4 lanes could be :
2.5Gbps/lane x 4 = 10Gbps = 1280 MBps = 1280 x 1024 KBps = 1280 x 1024 x 1024 Bps = 1280 x 1024 x 1024 * 8 /16 = 671088640 Pixel/s
With above resolution 671088640 / (9248x6944) = 10.45 fps.
Is my calculation correct and is it feasible to fetch the data of the aforementioned sensor (or similar) into the ISP of the SoC, please?
Best Regards,
Khang
