I have a question about histogram generation on DSP C7x256v:

is it doable and how fast is it?

We have seen the documentation for C71x from the TDA4VM SDK and we've noticed that C71x has some support for Histogram and LUT HW acceleration.

Is it still the case for C7x256v?

There is a histogram generation code in vxlib for C66x in the TDA4VM SDK accompanied with performance data.

Can this code be ported to C7x256v and what would be the performance(same, slower or faster)?

We would also need to decompand the Bayer RAW on the C7x256v DSP. Are there any HW acceleration for that similar to EVE in TDA2Px?
