mpeg2 decoder hangs up when video stream has missing data

They had been used decode demo program but I use gstreamer plugin. I couldn't use new viddec2.c (vdec2_process_new()) in gsttividdec2.c.

What can I do for gstreamer plugin?

Can you dump the elementary stream that is fed to decoder? If yes then please share the elementary stream.

Another option might be to dump a problematic stream to a file like Neelakanth suggested, and see if you can decode it with DVSDK 4.02 using a simple decode pipeline and the pre-built GStreamer binaries provided in that DVSDK.  If that works ok (thinking 4.02 might have the fix from the other post), you might be able to use the GStreamer code in DVSDK 4.02 as a reference to back-port a fix into your existing code base.  The 4.02 download page is located at:

I saw problem when playing from original stream. I tried to save to any file while decoding as es stream in gst_tividdec2_chain function in gsttividdec2.c source file.
Then I replay from file and there was no problem. 
And then I tired to stream this saved file with vlc as es stream and replay this stream, there is no problem.
But while playing from original stream it has problem.

What can we do? I think decoder has no problem. Maybe it is about buffering.

Not having seen this issue before, the most straight forward next-step would be to put a trace into the chain function to print the sizes of all the buffers as they come in, and see if there is a difference between the case that works and the case that doesn't.  If that doesn't reveal anything, then it might come down to comparing the buffer contents themselves.  The fact that the stream decodes ok in one configuration should help a lot to determine the problematic behavior in the configuration that doesn't work -- I think you're right in the key to root-causing the issue lies in looking at the buffers that are the input to TIViddec2 in each case.

I enabled gst_ticircbuffer_display(), and saw sometimes W level decreased and decoder waits due to gst_ticircbuffer_wait_on_producer(). After this issue system cannot overcome and sometimes Vdec2_process() returns Dmai_EBITERROR. 

I uploaded video of my screen for output of gst_ticircbuffer_display to our ftp server. Please can you check it? I think it can help us to understand problem.

Don,

I play same tv channel with same method(souphttp) on PC simultaneously, there is no problem on PC, but on DM365 decoding continues with freezes. 

With this test coming data should be ok.

And one more thing; If stream bit rate is less than 2Mb, we cannot decode it.
