DSP/BIOS 5 in CCSv4.0.01001 and dsk6416

hello everyone,

i would like some help as i am not able to get the HWI to work using the configuration tool of DSP/BIOS 5 in CCSv4.

 the PRD interrupt is working though.

i used the board's LED's to have a visual indication that the processor has entered the interrupt. it does not light.

i also used the STS to check when the stack pointer is being used and the counter says 0. can anyone help?  

is there a better DSP/BIOS that i can use with CCSv4 that is able to configure spectrum digital's DSK6416? i do not want to use the CCSv3.1 as i am using win7 OS.

i would appreciate any feedback.
