Hi all,
Do you have EVM which is nearest to the AM6202 processor? Also is it possible to connect the GMSL camera to this?
Thanks & regards,
Gokul

Hello Gokul
Thank you for the note.
Are you looking for design files or an EVM?
The EVM provides interface to the CSI-RX inputs.
Do you have some additional information on the GMSL camera.

Sreenivasa
In addition to what Sreenivasa clarified - please do note that the only EVM TI has for AM62x family is the SK-AM62 for the 13x13 mm package and we will also eventually have an EVM for the 17x17 mm package (1Q23).
From a CSI/camera interfacing there is no difference and we do not have any additional recommendation on GMSL2 attached.
We have seen customers use the Raspberry-Pi compatible 15 pin CSI2 connector on the EVM to hook to GMSL2 based cable that can plug in to cameras. What camera are you planning to use and do you have provision to do something similar?
Hi Sree / Mukul
Thank you for your response. Are you saying this Raspberry-Pi compatible 15 pin CSI2 connector on the EVM can be connect to GMSL2 based cable ?
GMSL2 based camera we plan to use.
Thanks & regards,
Gokul
Hello Gokul,
Thank you for the response.
The connector provides interface for CSI signals.
I am not sure about the GMSL2 camera you are using and the output format. If the output is not in CSI format you need to use a deserialize.

Sreenivasa
Hello Gokul
Thanks. If the output is in CSI format compatible to the Am62x you should be able to interface to the EVM.
Since we do not have the camera information, it would work best for you to verify the compatibility.

Sreenivasa
Additionally we do not support any GMSL in software /drivers. Likely something you will need to work on your own and if you run into issues, we can try to support. our standard evm and test, do not support GMSL2 camera but i believe a few customers have it working based on their own development either with custom cables or their own boards.
