DM8168 Can't boot from the SD,why?

I've copy the MLO file and u-boot.bin file to the SD card, and switch the boot configure to the SD Boot. But there is no message get from the serial terminal, seems that the sd card have't readed. So i want to know if i needed to format the SD card to a specifically format. now the filesystem of my sd card is FAT32.

The script named there for generating the SD-Card content worked for me without problems, if you use the EZSDK you find the hints concerning SD-Card generation as well there, within doc directory, the software developers guide, chapter 5.3.

In the case you yet have got an older board with DDR2 (instead of DDR3 support) then you will have to rebuild at least U-Boot, after changing some settings within two header files, look for DDR2 hints, it is documented step by step. Otherwise the behaviour will be as described by you - nothing happens...
