PROCESSOR-SDK-AM57X: SecureBoot for AM57x TI RTOS

Hello,

I'm working on an application that requires security features such as Software Signing. Looking into documentation we found that SecureBoot for AM57x in only support via the Linux SDK. Our project requires use of the TI RTOS SDK as we are implementing PRU-ICSS-ETHERCAT-SLAVE 01_00_10_00 which is limited to SDK RTOS.

We were wondering if there's any future plans to port the SecureBoot feature to the AM57x platform. Or if TI RTOS SecureBoot is available on an older Sitara Processor such as the AM437x?

Hi,

We do not have support for Secure Boot in TI RTOS SDK for AM57x or AM437x.

Secure Boot is available in Linux SDK.

Hi Stanley,

Thanks for verifying. I would assume then that implementing any of the Secure Dev features would require user implementation on our part via the available hardware registers.

Sorry didn't mention this on my previous reply. The PROCESSOR-SDK SECDEV 1.6.0 release notes mention that the package is supported for AM437x HS EVM for RTOS. Does this mean some features are supported for RTOS, but not SecureBoot? I can provide either a screenshot or reference for this, but I'm not sure what I'm allowed to share on the forums regarding SECDEV.
