AM3358: Enable memory test on u-boot

Hi,

How to enable the memory test on u-boot? Is there any guide and step to enable memory test in u-boot?

According to this article (https://github.com/ARM-software/u-boot/blob/master/doc/README.memory-test), memtest is not recommended, and we have tried to enable the memtest on u-boot and observed a lot of error, such as system hang. And the article is recommended to run memory test with POST.

Can we have the guide to enable the memory test in POST?

Hello,
Since u-boot is running from DDR itself. It is a bit hard to test full range of DDR using <mtest> cmd @u-boot as noted in <u-boot/doc/README.memory-test>.
HW assisted POST (Power-On Self Test) on DDR is not natively supported on AM335x SoC.
