DM648 decoder codecs error recovery, resilience, tolerance, concealment (TI provided codecs only)

What error tolerance, error concealment, and/or error resilience do the TI provided codecs for the DM648 have?

The application is streaming where bits/packets may be lost in transit. The decoder should recover from errors. 

Is it better to go with the 6437 and use the TMDH264D H264 MP? http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/folders/print/tmdh264d.html.

Does TI have any plans to make the above codec available for the DM648? If not, is the h264 BP codec a better choice, with respect to error resilience, than the MPEG4 codec (mpeg4dec)?
