DRA821U: valid UDMA Setting in Sysconfig for using CPSW

Part Number: DRA821U
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSCONFIG

Hello,

now, we are working on PROCESSOR-SDK-RTOS-J7200.

I use Sysconfig tool for setting UDMA. and , I want to use CPSW.

I think we can set UDMA parameters in Sysconfig. when we use CPSW driver (ENET driver?), we must use UDMA  driver.

So, I think when we use CPSW, we must set UDMA resource for CPSW. is this right?

if this is right, please show me valid UDMA setting in Sysconfig.

Thank you very much.

Sakaguchi

  • Hi Sakaguchi,

In the sysconfig tool, we can allocate the udma channels and rings to a particular core and on this core, we can use PDK UDMA driver to allocate & to configure channels and rings. I think allocation and configuration should have been already taken care in the CPSW driver. So please allocate the channels on sysconfig tool.
