In addition, there is a way to flash eMMC without using an SD card:

1. Booting U-Boot through UART, as described here: 3.1.1.7. UART — Processor SDK AM62x Documentation

2. Booting Linux via UART using NFS (without needing for an SD card)

3. Flash U-Boot and Linux to eMMC after Linux boots from NFS, according to Linux Academy chapter on flashing eMMC.

Please take a look at this application note as a reference:Booting_Linux_from_eMMC_AM64x_GPEVM.pdf. This app note was written for AM64x, but the general principles should apply to AM62x as well.

Hi Guillaume,

I had test fastboot command on am62x evm.

However, the evm was not working after rebooting. How can I solve it?

Does TI website provide any information about fasboot command?
