Hi,

I would like to change the timing for DDR4 timing. Is there any tool to do so? for example: SITARA-DDR-CONFIG-TOOL

Yes, the DDR Register Configuration tool can be found here: dev.ti.com/.../

There's a short README in the tool, but if you have further questions, you can ask them here. The default values are for the EVM.

Hi,

Does this tool needs CCS to work with?

Because I am not using CCS so is there any other way to change the timing without using CCS?

No, this tool does not require CCS, it has outputs in several formats including CCS GELs, u-boot dtsi, and RTOS (MCU+ SBL). However, CCS is good for debugging if that is available

So for example, following is the default output:

board_ddrReginit.h

/ddr.component.js

k3-am62x-ddr-config.dtsi

/ddr.component.js

AM62x-DDRConfig.gel

/ddr.component.js

am62x.syscfg

Configuration Script

In this case, I can just include "k3-am62x-ddr-config.dtsi" when i build the DTB?
