Hello,
From
    https://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-linux/esd/AM65X/08_02_00_02/exports/docs/linux/Overview/Download_and_Install_the_SDK.html?highlight=ubuntu
I see that:

"The Processor SDK Linux AM65xx now includes the ARM GCC toolchain. The Processor SDK Linux AM65xx was built and tested against a specific Linux Distribution name and version, Ubuntu 18.04. Note this does not prevent the user from installing the SDK on other Linux distributions."

Nevertheless I failed to open the SDK on Ubuntu 20 - When I ran the setup fail it said the maximum version is Ubuntu 18.
How do I install the SDK on other Linux distributions?

Thanks in advance,
Noam M

  • Hi Noam,

The SDK has only been validated on Ubuntu 18.04, not other versions of Ubuntu yet. But for most cases, you could skip the setup process, and only do it manually when needed. You can review the setup.sh script to understand what it does.
