TMS320C6412: XDS510 Controller Driver

Part Number: TMS320C6412

I believe I need to install the XDS510 controller driver.  I found the following link:

But all of the links on that page are dead.

Can you tell me where I can go to download the drivers for the XDS510 controller and XDS510 JTAG programmer?

    There are several types of XDS510 JTAG probes. One is an ISA card. One connects to the PC via Parallel Port. One connects to the PC via USB. Which one are you looking to use?

    I'm using the controller that connects to an ISA card.  Sorry I forgot to include that.

    Wow! You still have a PC with an ISA slot? Didn't think the old XDS510 ISA was in use at all!

    The drivers for that came with CCSv3.x (and earlier). I don't recall a standalone installer for it so you would need to install CCS.

    I'll take a look.  I actually don't have  a PC with an ISA slot.  I have a PCI extender connected to a PCI-ISA adapter.

    The XDS510 controller is plugged into PCI-ISA adapter which is connected to the XDS510 JTAG cable.  My issue

    may very well be extender and adapter needed to connect to the XDS controller, but the error I see talks about a TI USCIF driver error.

    It occured to me that I don't believe I installed SW or a driver when I added the controller.  The error I'm getting is attached.  Please let me 

    know if you have any thoughts on where the problem might be.  Thanks for your help.

    This error means the JTAG debugger is unable to sense the presence of a power supply voltage on the target - the TVRef pin.

    I checked the the pin on the JTAG header and I see 3.3V on it.  I don't know what voltage the driver is looking for, but I see it on Pin #5, the PD (Presence Detect) pin. 

    I checked the driver and I see that there is an error "driver unable to start" .  It turns out that I somehow have the XDS560 (not XDS510) PCI JTAG Emulator driver installed.  When I look at the drivers folder, I see the attached list of tixds510 drivers.  Can you tell me which driver I need to install for my ISA bus XDS510 Controller?  Thanks

    CCS 3.3 comes with the XDS510 ISA drivers.

    Assuming you are using a C6412, your setup should use:

    Thanks.  I still have a hardware issue, but I think this resolves my configuration and driver issues.  Thanks for your help.
