We are using the AM3356 processor with 100Mbs Ethernet port which is configured in Linux OS to use the internal CPSW switch.
The ethernet port is working great and no problem with it.
We are now performing some changes on the board and one of the nice to have requirements is to support the 802.1AS / IEEE 1588 time synchronization protocol.
Question:
Is there time sync related SW like below IEEE1588 and 802.1AS for CPSW of AM3356?
Does the CPSW support the IEEE1588 / 802.1AS time sync?
Did somebody implement this protocol over Ethernet with CPSW?
From the docs that I searched I could not understand if the CPSW allows IEEE 1588 time synchronization?
Any information of IEEE 1588 time sync with the CPSW topology is welcomed.
