dm365 arm compiler

I use codesourcery toolchain to compile Kernel and apps for dm365. See if this is what you are looking for.

there's Montavista compiler... but there are also some free open source solutions.
I'm succesfully using Open Embedded.

It takes quite a long time to configure the system especially if are new of Open Embedded, but then you'll have the compiler and a full target file system builder.

So my suggestion is, use it if you're not in a hurry!

This toolchain not suit me.  I try to compile encodedecode form dvsdk_demos_2_10_00_17 by my toolchain, but I failed.  Because TI ToolsChain is everywhere  in  TI Codecs and Dmai ...  So I can`t .

I need TI toolchain named arm_v5t_le.

Dear Daniele Bosi,  I hate TI ToolChain, because it make me uncomfortable.

I use it compiled lighttpd , it show me  " whether the g++ linker (/home/ryan/workdir/dm365/toolchain/v5t_le/armv5tl-montavista-linux-gnueabi/bin/ld) supports shared libraries... no" in lighttpd 1.4.22 ,  or it always link /usr/lib/libpcre.so in lighttpd 1.4.28.

I use it compiled buildroot,2010.11. It make /dev/pts/ can`t create  device descriptor  in  rootfs.

I always failed to compile encodedecode from dvsdk_demos_2_10_00_17 , because TI ToolChain -- arm_v5t_le, it everyrwhere in demos codes. So I can not neither use TI`s ToolChain nor my customer toolchain. I broke down.

I need help! SOS!!!!
