SK-AM64: Booting new SK-AM64 for first time

Part Number: SK-AM64

I have a new SK-AM64 EVM and am trying to get it up and running.  I downloaded the Linux image from TI's portal (from April of 2021, tisdk-default-image-am64xx-evm.wic.xz) and burned it to 16Gb Micro SD card -- no issues.  After figuring out I needed a heftier supply on my USB C cable I was finally able to get the card to start and use minicom to observe the boot sequence.  Problems from the beginning:

U-Boot SPL 2020.01-g2781231a33 (Apr 12 2021 - 17:25:33 +0000)
SYSFW ABI: 3.1 (firmware rev 0x0015 '21.1.1--v2021.01a (Terrific Lla')

and it hangs.  Has anyone seen this?  Is this image not the right default image?

Thanks in advance,

John M
