TMS320VC5410A: TMS320VC5410APGE16, ROHS 3 compliant part but tested LEAD amount 1271ppm, more than 1000ppm

Part Number: TMS320VC5410A

We did the EDX test on part TMS320VC5410APGE16 and find the lead amount is 1271ppm +-179ppm, more than 1000ppm, pls see attached PDF page 1.

Normally the ppm level should be 300ppm, but x-ray analysis report shows about 4 times.

Can you pls provide more info and explaination regarding this abnormal? We need lead free parts.

The TI test report for this device can be found at TMS320VC5410APGE16

This report does not show the Pb content above 1000ppm.

Can you share details on where the EDX test was performed?

Is the test done on a new sample without any foreign particles/substances on the top/bottom of the package?
