How to modify boot image in Android Froyo Dev Kit beagleboard-XM

Hello everyone,

We use the Android Froyo in beagleboard-xm, when the system is booting up, there is no image on the LCD panel.

I could moidy the initlogo.rle to modify the android boot image and add the bootanimation.zip to modify the Android boot  animation. But I think I need to modify the uboot and kernel's boot image.I have try to modiyfy the kernel logo, but the lcd only displays dark image during kernel start up. And how can I modify the u-boot  boot image?

Could anybody give me any suggestion to add a boot image?
