A8168 and DM6437 Software framework

We want to use A8168 in our smart camera project. Before the hardware is done, I want to learn and prepare the software part.

The hardware frame of DM6437 and A8168 looks similar,  and the development board of DM6437 is easy to get,

I want to know if the software framework of them are same? I mean can I develope the software on a DM6437 board and migrate them to A8168?

    If you don't have a design in with either A8168 or DM6437, I would recommend starting with A8168 since the Device architecture and Software platforms are quit different.

    Both devices are similar from a functional perespective, but different in terms of processing power for Video throughput, CPU, DSP, etc.
