Marc,

Thanks for your response to my initial query on eSATA.

Section 8.17.1.2 'Compatible SATA Components and Modes' of product overview mentions that eSATA is not supported. Could you briefly share the reasons for the same?

 

Also, could you provide the Transmit and receive potential for the SATA signals (differential VI and VO level)? We are planning to provide eSATAp support.

for eSATA the requirement is Transmit: 500-600mVp-p and receive: 240-600mVp-p, are this level supported by SATA interface on TMS320C6A8168?
