memory mapping of EVM320C6424 + wiznet W5100

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320C6424

hello all,

i want to do memory map of wiznet w5100 on EVM320C6424. how can i do this. i have did SPI but that is too slow, that's why i want memory mapping. but i have not a single document from which i can have basic ideas to start.

can anyone have did memory mapping, if yes then plz help me. if you can give me or suggest any related document that is also good.

thanks in advance

The Wiznet W5100 device provides a SPI interface and an asynchronous SRAM interface.  It is the asynchronous SRAM interface that you would use with the TMS320C6424.  I would first start with the datasheet of the TMS320C6424 which is available from the Product Folder.
Secondly, the TMS320C642x DSP Asynchronous External Memory Interface (EMIF) User's Guide is the other document to reference to understand how to connect the TMS320C6424 to the W5100 device.

  • hello BrandonAzbell,
