McBSP in c6424

Hi,

I will use the McBSP of c6424 DSP to communicate with another DSP. I am not familiar with McBSP peripheral and I won't use it for audio interface purposes(only for information transfer but not as SPI). So I am looking for an example that will be beneficial for me to understand the structure of this peripheral.

There is a DSP/BIOS Platform Support Package available for the C6424 which has a McBSP driver in it. You can get access to it through the TMS320C6424 Product Folder.

Another source of information to understand the structure of the McBSP is the Peripheral User's Guide, also available on the product folder.

Hi,

Thanks for the answer but I am not using dsp/bios. So I am looking for the differences between the c6455 and c6424 mcbsp drivers to use the csl of the c6455. It will be very useful for me if I can use c6455 csl's mcbsp side. From now on I couldnt have seen any difference between them but their documents are different. Maybe you can tell me about the differences between these two.
