TDA4VM-Q1: Questions about TDA4 Errta -- eMMC: VIO Supply Sequencing

Part Number: TDA4VM-Q1

Hello TI experts,

I have a question about TDA4 eMMC: VIO Supply Sequencing and would like your help.

Background:

  • We use TPS65941213 & TPS65941111 as the PMIC ICs based on PDN_0C.
  • From TDA4 errta item 2144, VDDS_MMC0(1.8V) should be powered up after VDD_CORE (0.8V).
  • We tested the power supply sequence  of our customer board which used TPS65941213 & TPS65941111. The result shows VDDS_MMC0(1.8V) is powered up before VDD_CORE (0.8V). The picture is attached.

Question:

  • For TPS65941111. VOUT_LDO3/(VDDS_MMC0) is powered up before VDD_CORE(buck1&2&3). It is about 1ms earlier. Is it normal for this IC and this NVM?
  • What does TI recommend us to do?Should VDDS_MMC0 be earlier or should VDD_CORE be earlier?
  • If eMMC: VIO Supply Sequencing is wrong, what result it will cause?
  • Because we design our board based on PDN0C. What should we do? Is TPS65941111 the right IC for us?

Thank you in advance!
