Debugging and Running C64x+ side on OMAP3530

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSBIOS, OMAP3530

Hello Everyone,

I am using CCSv5.0.2.00006 version for beagleboard3530 using xds100v2 JTAG emulator. For the programming part i can connect ARM Cortex A8 and then c64x+ reset to connect DSP core right. Now i am just trying to run the examples given in the SYSBIOS (BIOS 6).At the end i am able to generate.out file for ARM core and had excellent result.  In CCS Debug window i can see that DSP core is connected too.

So basically i wanted to work with DSP side(I had experience of DSK6713) on omap3530. So can anyone over the community guide me how to proceed with this one.

Note: I tried for it, but i was getting the error like target core not recognized.

Did i need to generate  seperate .out file for DSP core with new ccs project selecting c6000, C64x+ and related settings because previosly i selected ARM cortex A8 and ARM while creating new project for ARM?

Can i proceed without using DSPlink and codec engine for this one?

Please guide me over this.

With Regards
