There is no part number as c6616. I think you meant TCI6616 and for this you need to contact the local BU support. Alternatively, you can also use C6670 MCSDK. They are one and the same except it will not have any driver for the accelarators.
Thanks,
Arun.
Hi arun,
I believe that the BIOS MCSDK 2.0 which consists of the PDK for c6670 would work for TCI6616 too, that what it claims on the link here.
http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/BIOS_MCSDK_2.0_Getting_Started_Guide
im currently using CCS v4.2.3 and would like to test the NDK functionality for TCI6616. Hope that installing this would help me experiment with the demo applications.
Please guide.
I compiled the helloWorld application under C:\Program Files\Texas Instruments\mcsdk_2_00_00_11\examples\ndk\helloWorld\evmc6670l.
On running the helloWorld NDK application on TCI6618 EVM having Dual PHY, its observed that Init_SGMII() function doesnt exit, and keeping running in a loop as shown in the attachment. I believe that this application is meant for TCI6618 EVM Lite version, which will not work for the Dual PHY version EVM. is it true ?
Has anyone tested the helloWorld NDK application for TCI6618 EVM with Dual PHY ?
Santosh,
Please refer to the FAE or your local TI contacts for all TCI support. Also check Lyretech website and see if they have a latest gel files.
Thanks,
Arun.
Arun,
THere was this same issue with MCSDK 1.0 too for c6474 for Dual PHY.
The FIX for CCSv4 HelloWorld project for running the NDK2.2 (From MCSDK 1.0) on the dual Faraday EVM was uploaded at :
http://processors.wiki.ti.com/images/0/05/NDK2_2_dual_evm6474.zip
I believe this same could be the case for MCSDK 2.0 too for c66x for CCSv5 HelloWorld Project.
Are you or anyone aware of such a kinda problem ? Pls help.
Santosh
Santosh, as Arun mentioned TCI devices are not supported on this forum. TCI66xx devices are only supported directly through your local Field Applications Engineers. Please work with your local Field Applications Engineers on questions related to TCI66xx devices. If you need the contact information for your local Field Applications Engineers please work with your local TI Sales Representative.
