AM6412: Does the AM6412 support the JESD84-B51A eMMC 5.1 standard ?

Hello,

I will incorporate into my design an eMMC 5.1 IC.

This IC complies to JESD84-B51A  (LDPC ecc).

There is no reference to AM6412 TRM or datasheet for compliance to JESD84-B51A....but only to JESD84-B51...

Is there support of the latest / updated JESD84-B51A eMMC 5.1 standard ?

    The device was designed to be compliant to JESD84-B51. eMMC devices should be backward compatible with previous revisions of the standard. The JESD84-B51A eMMC device should work with AM64x devices, but any new functions defined in the newer revision may not be supported.

    The only difference between the two revisions of the eMMC standard is "Alignment of MID format in CID to JEP106AV guidelines".

    This difference is simply a clarification on the definition of the 8-bit MID field.
