AM6424: max LPDDR4 memory restricted to 2GB ?

Hi Champs!

Can you confirm, that AM62x (acc. to DS) can address 4GB LPDDR4 but AM64x only 2 GB LPDDR4 (acc. to DS) ?

What is root cause fo rthis ?

Dirk, this is correct. AM64x is limited to 2GB by design. Addressing beyond 2GB requires extended addressing (ie, more than 32bits), which is only available in AM62x.
