Is it possible to run anti-virus on an OMAP?

You could try it...if you have Ubuntu booted up on OMAP, then go to the Applications ->Ubuntu Software Center.

Try searching for anit-virus.

I looked at the AVG yesterday but I noticed that it requires Intel Pentium processor... which means even though they have a Linux version, wouldn't be compatible with an ARM correct?
