Hi,
I have to start on an DSP application which
requires 4 audio inputs sampling at ~44kHz simultaneously. (this because
the phase shift between the signals is important) Because I have to perform FFT
and FFT-1 on all the 4 signals I would need a DSP with a bit of grunt but with
low power use to have it portable running on a battery.
For the DSP selection and software development I
need to select a starter kit / development tools. At the moment I'm looking at
the Ti OMAP L137/TMS320C6747 Starter kit http://www.spectrumdigital.com/product_info.php?products_id=223
which houses a floating point and ARM processor.
The problem is that it only has a stereo (2
channel) audio input and I need 4.
Has anyone used this or similar starter kit before
and knows if there is a smart way (daughter card) to extend the audio inputs to
4 simultaneous. Or any other starter kit / hardware that would be able to do
this.
Thanks,
Jan Minck
