Failure in CSL_MMCSD_SdCardFSExample

I tried to run the example  in  CSL_MMCSD_SdCardFSExample and got the following failure :

MMCSD-ATAFS TESTS!

MMCSD-ATAFS POLL MODE TEST!

SD Card detected

SD card is High Capacity Card

Memory Access will use Block Addressing

SD card initialization Successful

ATA File System Initialization successful

ATA_fileInit error (0x300)

I am using CSL version 2.10.00.00 on a 5515eZDSP board  and a microSD card with 4GB formtted to FAT(32) with 4096 block size

The same setup is passing a test without a file system in CSL_MMCSD_SdCardExample

While tracking the failure I saw that it fails in ATA_Cdroot function

Can anyone hint about the reason for the failure ?
