Problem Statement :
Magna Electronics ECU MFG Plant [ Holly] Personnel had build few hundred Hydra 3 production ECUs with Development OTP Keywriter instead of Production OTP Key Writer.
In order salvage these Production intent ECUs , Magna Electronics team is requesting for TI's feedback on whether the development OTP Keywriter can be overwritten with a Production intent Key writer file.
Note:
As FYI below is the difference between Development & production Key OTP from Me perspective , Key integrity and Secure Store.
Development OTP Keywriter files are build using SDK file provided by TI and integrity of the keys are not protected.
Production OTP Keywriter files are build using Magna Electronics IT Key API .
